Shipping Policy

Depending on whether an item is in stock or a pre-order, shipping times may vary.

In-stock items

In-stock items will include an estimated shipping date at checkout. 
We have weekly order pickups, so your order will usually ship within a week.

Pre-order items

Pre-order items will include an estimated shipping date on the product page. Please note that pre-order dates may be subject to change due to manufacturing or supply chain delays.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with your order details, including an estimated delivery date. When your item ships, we'll send a shipping notification with tracking information so you can monitor its progress.

Due to our batch production model, for full box orders we estimate a delivery timeframe of approximately 5-6 months from the close of the order window. While we try to keep our products local, many of our suppliers are international and production and shipping can be a lengthy process. Especially when operating at a small scale.

- Batch 2: August 2024 - Completed  

- Batch 3: Expected to Ship October - November 2025

- Batch 4: Coming towards the end of 2025

Shipping Destinations & Delivery Times

We ship to most major countries worldwide. Shipping times typically range from 4–12 business days, depending on your location and local customs.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method selected.

International Shipping & Customs

We offer international shipping to most major countries worldwide. Customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are not included in your order total and may be collected separately by your local customs authority.

USA Tariff Update: We are currently collecting the new 10% tariffs at checkout. These should appear under the category "Duties / Tariffs"

Fulfilment & Handling Times

- Ships from: Australia.
    
- Fulfilment days: Thursdays (excluding public holidays)
    
- Order cutoff time: 9 AM AEST (local time)
    
- Maximum handling time: 5 business days
    

Orders placed after the cutoff time will be processed the following week.  
  
New tariffs and courier rules may delay some international orders delivering to the US.

How to Track Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track the shipment. You can also track your order at any time by:

- Logging into your account (if you created one during checkout)
    
- Searching for the tracking number in your local countries shipping service (eg USPS).
    

Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after your item has shipped.  

Delivery Issues & Uncollected Packages

Once your order has shipped, delivery responsibility shifts to the carrier and customer. We’ll notify you if the carrier reports a problem, but many local carriers require customer action within a specific timeframe — like collecting a parcel from a pickup point or updating delivery info such as customs details.

If no action is taken, your package may be returned to us (often at a cost) or destroyed by the carrier, depending on their policy. Unfortunately, we cannot override these outcomes.

If the parcel is returned to us, we can arrange re-delivery at your expense — including any return shipping and reshipment fees. If it’s destroyed by the carrier, the order is considered forfeited and is not eligible for a refund or replacement.

To avoid issues, please double-check your shipping address at checkout, and keep an eye on tracking updates to ensure timely delivery or pickup.

Incorrect Delivery Address

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

If an incorrect address is provided and the parcel has already shipped, there's only a slim chance we can intercept or reroute it. We cannot offer refunds or reshipments simply because the item couldn’t be received at the original address.

If a change is possible and the carrier charges a reroute fee, that cost will be the customer's responsibility. We'll inform you of the fee and payment method if you choose to proceed.

Made-to-Order Crafting & Variations

When you place a pre-order, your game is queued for production in the next batch. This process involves careful selection of materials, suppliers and meticulous handcrafting. Note that our games are made to order but not customisable. Each batch may exhibit slight variations. These variations can occur due to changes in our suppliers, methods, or materials over time. Any changes we make in the production process are aimed solely at improving the quality of our games. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and ensuring that each game you receive is of the highest standard.

Communication of Changes: Should there be any notable changes in the production of a specific batch, we will communicate these through our production updates mailing list. Sign up here!

Acceptance of Variations: By placing an order with CrypticCrafter, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of such variations. We assure you that these changes will not compromise the quality or the overall experience of the game but are part of our commitment to delivering the best product possible.

Some examples of prior variations from Batch 1 include the addition of a customised metal coin to determine turn order and the swap from hand cut foam inserts to professionally CNC milled foam inserts.  
In Batch 2 we changed the folder to PU Leather, and the tooth to metal among many other small changes.
